By using the Tapeline application, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

Service Description

Tapeline is a body measurement and fitness tracking application. It allows you to log weight, body measurements, progress photos, and wellness scores over time.

Accounts

You must sign in with Google or Apple to use Tapeline. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

Subscriptions

• Tapeline offers a free tier (3 logs per month) and a Pro subscription with unlimited access.
• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly ($0.99) or yearly ($9.99) through the App Store or Google Play.
• All subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. Cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid charges.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel:

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Tapeline → Cancel Subscription
• Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → Tapeline → Cancel

After cancellation, you will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier. Your data is never deleted — you can re-subscribe anytime to regain Pro access.

Refund Policy

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies:

• Apple: Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com
• Android: Request a refund through the Google Play Store within 48 hours of purchase, or contact Google Play support.

We do not process refunds directly — all billing is managed by the platform stores. If you experience any issues, contact us and we'll help resolve them.

User-Generated Content (Body Photos)

You may optionally upload body photos (front, side, back) as part of your progress logs. By uploading photos you confirm that:

• You are the person depicted in the photos, or you have explicit consent from the person depicted.
• You are at least 18 years old, or if between 13–17, you have obtained parental consent.
• The photos do not include other people without their consent.
• You grant Tapeline a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display the photos solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

Photos are stored privately and are never shared with other users, third parties, or used for any purpose other than displaying them back to you. You can delete any photo or your entire account at any time. Tapeline does not review or moderate photos, but we reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Tapeline. We do not claim any rights to your measurements, photos, or other content. You can export or delete your data at any time.

Health Disclaimer

Tapeline is not a medical device. Health metrics (BMI, body fat estimates, ratios) are calculated estimates and should not be used as medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional for medical decisions.

Limitation of Liability

Tapeline is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Tapeline after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
